DESCRIPTION:A tradition for more than 50 years\, the iconic Chicago Pride Parade concludes the city's month-long celebrations with a procession through the Uptown\, Lakeview\, and Lincoln Park neighborhoods on the last Sunday of June each year. The parade\, organized by PRIDEChicago since 1974\, has grown into one of the largest in the country.\n\n\n\nJoin us for the 53rd annual Chicago Pride Parade which will be stepping off from West Sheridan and North Broadway (near Gill Park in East Lakeview) at 11:00 a.m.(one hour earlier) on Sunday\, June 30\, 2024. This year\, 125 contingents will march under the theme Pride is Power.\n\n\n\nEach year\, the Chicago Pride Parade serves as a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ pride\, bringing together our communities and allies in a display of unity and solidarity.  Participating in the parade is an unforgettable experience. It is also a powerful statement of visibility and unity for Chicago's LGBTQ+ community.  \n\n\n\nThe parade begins at 11 a.m. from W. Sheridan and N. Parade organizers estimate that more than one million people attend this annual celebration of Chicago's LGBTQ+ community.
