Join us from noon to 1:30 PM next Thursday, February 24th at Iyanze Café and Bar where we will gather for a West African “working lunch” lunch presented by owner Emmanuel Abidemi.Emmanuel is providing context to their menu for attendees, who will be filling up on a variety of menu items.
We’re excited to celebrate Emmanuel and his mother Beatrice, originally from Nigeria, who are trailblazers among the many West African entrepreneurs who call Uptown home.Their nearly 30-year old family business opened Bolat in 1994 on Lawrence Avenue in Uptown, expanded to Lakeview, then opened Iyanze in Uptown, and last fall opened a second Iyanze location in Bronzeville at 51st and Prairie.
We have so many new members this year! Our “working lunch” event allows us a moment to welcome new members and provide for all membership an orientation to our upcoming marketing opportunities and an introduction to our staff.
New and existing members will learn how to maximize the value of their membership, get insider-track info on the 2022-23 printed Uptown Guide, preview availability for the Uptown street pole banner program, and utilize exploreuptown.org to get seen!
Treat your staff to lunch and set them up to represent your business and make your brand more visible.Attendance, which includes a variety of food (all beverages are separate) is $30.00 for members and $40.00 for non-members.Vegetarian options will be available.
