CHICAGO, IL — Great Lakes Sailing and Sail Her Dreams are proud to announce the opening of "Where Wings Meet Water," an immersive art experience on Chicago’s lakefront. The exhibit officially opens to the public on April 22, 2026, and will run through April 30, 2026.
The Exhibit
"Where Wings Meet Water" creates a dynamic meeting place of art, wind, and water. In collaboration with LivingGallery, the exhibit features local artists who have created large-scale installations and site-responsive pieces. The works are inspired by the natural beauty of the harbor, the movement of migratory birds, and the spirit of exploration. Visitors are invited to explore these interactive works while experiencing a unique dialogue between creative expression and the natural elements.
Special Artist Celebration
A community celebration to honor the participating artists will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 11AM. This event offers a unique opportunity for visitors to meet the creators behind the installations, hear about their inspirations, and connect with Chicago’s vibrant lakefront community.
